Bill Murray is an American actor and comedian who rose to prominence on Saturday Night Live before becoming a film star with roles in Ghostbusters, Groundhog Day, and Lost in Translation. He has earned major honors including a BAFTA, a Golden Globe, two Primetime Emmy Awards, an Academy Award nomination, and the 2016 Mark Twain Prize for American Humor.
