Formed in 2018 (originally under the name Brute Force), Direct Measure is a five-piece metallic hardcore band from St. Louis. They released multiple EPs between 2018–2021 and issued their debut full-length album, Might and Might Alone, in 2025 on WAR Records. The band has toured regionally and been cited for helping spotlight the St. Louis hardcore scene.
