Keith Murphy is a singer, multi-instrumentalist, composer and arranger who has released several solo recordings, including Bright As Amber (2023). He founded and directs the Northern Roots Traditional Music Festival and teaches at a regional music center. His compositions and arrangements are widely used by contra dance groups, appear on numerous recordings, and some of his work was featured in Ken Burns' Roosevelts documentary.
