Elmer “Sonny” Lim is a member of the Lim Family of North Kohala and a respected slack?key guitarist, lap steel player, vocalist, songwriter, and producer. His solo album Slack Key Guitar: The Artistry of Sonny Lim was nominated for the 48th Grammy Award for Best Hawaiian Music Album, he appears on Grammy-winning anthology Slack Key Guitar Volume 2, and he has recorded for Palm Records and toured regularly, including performances in Japan.
