Vincent Varvel is a guitarist and Lecturer/Director of Guitar at Washington University in St. Louis who has toured the United States and Europe and released solo albums including Pictures & Postcards,...not a creature was stirring, and Third Person. He leads the Vincent Varvel Quartet—frequently featuring Joel Vanderheyden (sax/electronics), Eric Warren (bass), and Joe Meyer (drums)—and performs original compositions at regional venues and festivals such as The Sheldon and the Augusta Jazz Festival.
