About

City Museum is a one?of?a?kind, all?ages playground and art space housed in the former International Shoe Company warehouse, opened in 1997 by artist Bob Cassilly. The multi?floor attraction includes caves and tunnels, the outdoor MonstroCity, and a rooftop Ferris wheel, anchoring the Washington Avenue loft district in Downtown West. It also serves as a distinctive private?event venue with options up to full?museum buyouts accommodating as many as 4,000 guests.
