Evangeline’s Bistro & Music House is a New Orleans–inspired restaurant and live-music spot in the Central West End, presenting jazz, blues, singer-songwriters and more, with regular weekend shows and a popular jazz brunch. Opened in late 2013 by Don Bailey and Tim Ducey, it anchors a walkable CWE strip surrounded by bars, patios, and restaurants. The intimate room holds about 100 people, creating an up-close listening vibe.

Complimentary private lot on Washington (at the end of the building) is available Fri–Sat 5pm–midnight and Sun 11am–4pm; additional metered street parking and a paid lot on Euclid are nearby. Public garages/lots in the CWE include the Argyle Garage (225 N. Euclid) and Euclid Lot (436 N. Euclid).

Public transit

Accessible via MetroLink at the Central West End Station; MetroBus Route 10 (Gravois–Lindell) serves Lindell Blvd in the CWE.
